Loading... Please wait...This is a leveling kit for the 2006-2009 Explorer and 2007-2009 Sport Trac. The kit is made by Truxxx Manufacturing, the leading producer of leveling kits in the market today. The kits are manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques in the USA, blending CAD/CAM, 3-D modelling and frickin' laser beams to give you a product that will work for years with no headaches. All Truxxx products have a limited lifetime warranty.
Why are leveling kits for the Explorer and Sport Trac so popular? Simple! The leveling kit gives the owner of the Explorer and Sport Trac what they really want - room for bigger tires! The leveling kit also fixes the nose down stance that modern trucks and suvs come with so that the appearance of the vehicle is improved. The little discussed secret in the truck suspension world is that most lift kits raise the front of the truck higher than the rear - thus making it level. This kit does that for a lot less than your conventional lift kit. Call us today if you have any questions!
This kit fits:
2006-2009 Explorer 4x2 & 4x4 (2.5" Front/1.25" Rear)
2007-2009 Sport Trac 4x2 & 4x4 (2.5" Front/1.25" Rear)
Ship to Canada for $19.95
Ship to the rest of the world for $29.95

I just want to know, if this kit lift 2.5" Front/1.25" Rear, won the truck will be higher at the front???
---------------------------------
Answer: No, it won't be. The truck comes from the factory with the tail higher than the front. This kit will correct that and make the truck sit level. To see for yourself, go to your truck and measure the front and rear height using the door sill as a base. You will see that the rear is higher, and this kit is the perfect dimensions to fix the issue.

Do you need to purchase longer shocks to accomodate the 2.5" lift in the front?
--------------------
There is no need to change the struts. This kit is designed to work with the stock struts and everything required is included in the kit.

I have a 2003 Explorer and I have seen another lift kit and they seem identical. Have you heard anyone being able to fit this 06+ lift kit on a 2002-2005? Thanks.
------------------------------------------
Answer - Sorry, no. The suspension of the truck changed for the 2006 model year, so it will not fit your truck

I own a Ford explorer 07 4x4. I just bought it and I would like to bring it up a little bit. I would like to see some pictures of your lift installed, and how big of tire I can go. I would also Like to know If I would have any allignment issues or steering problems, let me know If you can help me out,Thanks,Dave Nelson.

Answer:
You can put up to a 31" tire on the truck, depending on wheel backspace. It is always advised to put the lift in before buying the wheels and tires, to avoid any issues. As for pics we are waiting for some from our customers. Anyone want to be famous?
After the lift is installed, the alignment should be done. Specs are included in the kit. Mostly the toe changes, not a big deal. No other issues have been reported.
