Loading... Please wait...This is a leveling kit for the 2006-2010 Explorer and 2007-2010 Sport Trac. The kit is made by Truxxx Manufacturing, the leading producer of leveling kits in the market today. The kits are manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques in the USA, blending CAD/CAM, 3-D modelling and frickin' laser beams to give you a product that will work for years with no headaches. All Truxxx products have a limited lifetime warranty.
Why are leveling kits for the Explorer and Sport Trac so popular? Simple! The leveling kit gives the owner of the Explorer and Sport Trac what they really want - room for bigger tires! The leveling kit also fixes the nose down stance that modern trucks and suvs come with so that the appearance of the vehicle is improved. The little discussed secret in the truck suspension world is that most lift kits raise the front of the truck higher than the rear - thus making it level. This kit does that for a lot less than your conventional lift kit. Call us today if you have any questions!
This kit fits:
2006-2010 Explorer 4x2 & 4x4 (2.5" Front/1.25" Rear)
2007-2010 Sport Trac 4x2 & 4x4 (2.5" Front/1.25" Rear)

I would like to know If I will need any other thing or something to be changed on my sport trac, which is not included in this KIT? I'm from Venezuela, so I don't want to find out after I receive this kit that something else is needed. Thank you, Edgar
-----------------------------------
Answer: Everything is included! All you need is some common hand tools, a pry-bar, and a jack and jack stands. We ship this kit internationally almost every week, and every customer has been happy so far! Check out the pictures, one truck is from Ecuador and the other is from the Middle East.

This lift is the only one for a sport trac I could find, its low priced and a very easy install!! I was just wondering if the sway bar links have to be longer or is the stock ones fine?
-----------------------------------
The stock ones are fine!

I love this lift kit.
It is really quick and easy to install, and also it improved the off-road capability of my truck.
With a set of all terrain Yokohama GeoLander A/T-S 265/70R17 31.5" tires the Explorer became a truly wiled beast

Hi I have a 2010 Explorer. You name this kit as 2006-09, will it fit the 2010 explorer?
--------------------------------------------
Yes! It will fit the 2010 Explorer.

put kit on my 2006 explorer worked great but not sure what size tires to get i have 255/75/16 on now
ANSWER: The blue Explorer in the pic is from Ecuador and has 285/70R-17 and the owner claims that he has no problems. I personally think it is a size too big. Another Explorer owner used Yokohama GeoLander A/T-S 265/70R17 31.5" tires and was happy with the result. Use the larger size if you can tolerate some rubbing at extreme turn angles, or the smaller tire if you would prefer to avoid that.

What is the needed backspace on the rims to fit 31" tires with minimum rubbing? and what are the name of the tires that are in the pic? thanks
----------------------------
Tires are all slightly different in sizes, so a 31" BFG wil not be the exact same size as a 31" Toyo. When we get the information, we put the tire sizes in the photo. Rim offset affects rubbing a lot also, generally a stock type offset is better when you want to avoid rubbing.

I just want to know, if this kit lift 2.5" Front/1.25" Rear, won the truck will be higher at the front???
---------------------------------
Answer: No, it won't be. The truck comes from the factory with the tail higher than the front. This kit will correct that and make the truck sit level. To see for yourself, go to your truck and measure the front and rear height using the door sill as a base. You will see that the rear is higher, and this kit is the perfect dimensions to fix the issue.

Do you need to purchase longer shocks to accomodate the 2.5" lift in the front?
--------------------
There is no need to change the struts. This kit is designed to work with the stock struts and everything required is included in the kit.

I have a 2003 Explorer and I have seen another lift kit and they seem identical. Have you heard anyone being able to fit this 06+ lift kit on a 2002-2005? Thanks.
------------------------------------------
Answer - Sorry, no. The suspension of the truck changed for the 2006 model year, so it will not fit your truck
